Export your data and keep your project

Separate your project files, personal account data and organization-owned work.

Source-reviewed guide · deployment verification pending8 September 2026

Project files

Your working copy and the GitHub repositories you control remain under your control. Keep normal backups and confirm which context records are present alongside those files. A repository copy is not automatically a backup of every ACC-hosted record.

Personal account export

The account lifecycle implementation offers a JSON export of your profile, memberships, account-change/deletion history, personal-data agent memories and recent activity. Read the export's notes.coverage field; recent activity may be limited.

What is excluded?

Organization-owned tasks, PRs, reviews and chat turns are explicitly excluded from the personal export. Do not treat that download as a complete workspace backup or a one-click restore package. Workspace/project export coverage must be checked separately with the organization owner.

Before leaving ACC

  1. Save and back up project files and relevant document-context records.
  2. Request/download your available personal export and inspect its coverage.
  3. Arrange access to organization-owned work you are entitled to retain.
  4. Transfer ownership where needed, then disconnect credentials and follow the deletion guide.
