Choose the right operation
Deleting personal memories, deleting your ACC account and deleting a team organization have different effects. Removing an account is not the same as deleting its local files, GitHub repository or an external AI-provider account.
Before requesting deletion
- Review active tasks and connected machines.
- Save the data and project files you need.
- If you are the only owner of a shared organization, transfer ownership or follow the organization-deletion process.
- Review external integrations and sessions that should be revoked.
Request, cancellation and completion
The account lifecycle implementation supports a deletion request and a configurable grace period. If cancellation is available, use the deadline shown by the active service; do not assume a universal number of days.
What may remain?
Shared work, audit records, backups and records retained for a defined legal/security purpose need an explicit policy. The final Privacy Policy and deletion confirmation must explain applicable retention and what happens to connected services.
