Find the right board

  1. Select the correct organization and project.
  2. Open Work → Board. Switch to Table for scanning rows, or Programs/Hierarchy for broader structure where available.
  3. Use filters to focus on relevant tasks, then open a task to inspect its description, owner, dependencies and activity.

Read status as a next action

Ready work still needs its prerequisites and an available executor. Running means execution has started. Blocked work needs the stated blocker resolved. Review/approval states need a person or configured reviewer to inspect the result. Completion and merging are distinct milestones.

Create or revise work

Use New task for a defined unit of work, or discuss a plan with a manager in Workspace when the scope needs breaking down. Include acceptance criteria and the relevant repository/context. Before starting a replacement task, check whether the existing task can be corrected or retried.

Respond to a halt

  1. Read the reason and linked evidence.
  2. Check whether the issue is a decision, missing permission, unavailable machine, failed check or changed requirement.
  3. Resolve that cause or ask for a correction.
  4. Confirm that the task resumes and its result still matches the project goal.

Moving a card or approving a request is not proof that checks passed. Review the task and delivery evidence.
